Building Resilience Through Expressive Art Forms

8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23: GRIEF AND EXPRESSIVE ARTS SERIES

“Although the key to healing lies in our ability to express and release our painful, stress-producing emotions, accessing these emotions isn’t always easy when we continue to do it in the only way we know how – using words.” Barbara Ganim

Has grief stopped you from feeling truly alive? How do we push forward with the daily tasks of living when we are grieving? Art is one answer. It provides color and texture in a time when life feels heavy and dull. Explore the art of grieving though meditation, art, writing, and community.

These workshops are designed to weave together ways of building resilience through non-verbal expression using multiple art forms to depict experiences of trauma, grief, joy, inspiration and healing. They allow space where you can engage with your true self and experience shifts in perspective, balance, and inner harmony.

Sundays: August 2, 9, 16, and 23
5:30 – 7:30 pm
